  1. Be sure your computer has what is needed to use EFA.
  2. If you have not registered, click the Teacher Registration button in the top bar and fill out the registration form.
  3. Your students will register themselves in your class(es), but you will need to give them the class password.
  4. If you have registered, click the Sign-In button and then enter your Sign-In Name and Password in the boxes on the Sign-In page.
  5. On the MyEFA page you will see your name and news about EFA. Select Manage Classes in the top bar. You will see the name(s) of your class(es). Click on a class name to see information about that class and student records. You can do any of the learning activities as a student by clicking on 'Preview Courses'.
  6. Notice the 'Teacher Tools' on the top of the page.
    • Edit Profile allows you to change your personal registration information.
    • Teacher Guide provides a guide to the Episodes and hints on using EFA with adult learners.
    • Manage Classes is used to add new classes, remove old ones, or change class information.
    • Print Materials provides access to the files for printing the written materials for each episode.
    • Competencies tells you which EFA episodes address specific competency standards. You can start with the standard and find episodes, or start with the episode and find the applicable standards.
  7. To return to the MyEFA page from a lesson, click on the MyEFA button in the top bar.
  8. To quit, click on the Sign Out button.
